Apple held its annual Worldwide Developers Conference on June 8th 2026 at Apple Park in Cupertino, California. System wide app access — Siri AI can access and interact with all the apps and data on your iPhone with strong privacy controls. Craig Federighi, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Software Engineering, emphasised during the keynote that this access is built with privacy at its core.
More natural voice — users can now adjust the pace and expressivity of Siri AI’s voice, making conversations feel significantly more natural than the traditional synthetic Siri voice.
iOS 27, macOS 27 and More
Alongside Siri AI Apple announced new versions of all its operating systems — iOS 27, macOS 27, iPadOS 27, watchOS 27, tvOS 27 and visionOS 27.
Key features across the new operating systems include:
